DIRECTIONS

It’s worth the trip!

If you are using a GPS, it will only take you to the entrance to Washington Green Condominiums: 
  1. Enter “Washington Green Condominiums” from Route 32 (AKA Windsor Hwy.) 
  2. Continue straight ahead to a STOP sign–after the STOP sign, go straight ahead (do not make a left) to the end of the road where you are compelled to make a left before the road ends in a turnaround 
  3. Proceed up a small hill about 40 yards and make your first left into a parking lot 
  4. We are in the second building on the left, Building L 
  5. Park your car anywhere not marked “RESERVED” on the pavement (there are plenty of spots – all spots are numbered) 
  6. As you face Bldg. L, ours is the extreme lower left unit–on the door it reads LG1 and 1127

FROM NEW YORK STATE THRUWAY

  1. Take the NYS Thruway to exit 17 – Newburgh / Stewart Airport
  2. Follow signs to 300 – 17K (Toll)
  3. Continue to follow signs to 300 – 17K (keep right and take 300 South to 17K)
  4. Continue .7 miles to traffic light at Junction of 17K and 300 (Nissan Dealership on corner)
  5. Turn left at 17K traffic light
  6. Continue 2 miles on 17K (road narrows and becomes “Broadway”) until you see a sign for Route 32 (aka Windsor Highway) South on right
  7. Turn right onto Route 32 South
  8. Travel 3 miles on Route 32 South
  9. As you are approaching 3 miles, look to your right and you will see an Econo Lodge
  10. The next sign immediately after you pass the Econo Lodge reads: “Washington Green Condominiums”
  11. Make a right turn into Washington Green; you will come to a stop sign
  12. Continue straight ahead after the stop sign, and turn left before road ends in a turnaround
  13. You will go up a small hill and make your first left into a parking lot
  14. We are in the second building on the left, Building L
  15. Park your car anywhere it’s not marked “RESERVED” on the pavement (there are plenty of spots – all spots are numbered)
  16. As you face Bldg. L, ours is the extreme lower left unit; on the door it reads LG1 and 1127
  17. OR
  18. If driving north from Rockland County, NY or New Jersey, exit at Thruway Exit 16 – Harriman.
  19. Immediately after paying toll, take first exit ramp on right to Route 32.
  20. At light, take a right onto Route 32 (northbound) and travel 11-12 miles to the Five Corners Interchange in Vails Gate, NY.
  21. Stay to your right at interchange, and continue on route 32 North (a “soft” right turn). Then follow directions from the Five Corners Interchange, below.

FROM ROUTE 84 WESTBOUND

  1. Take route 84 to exit 7B
  2. Take exit ramp to stop light and take left onto Route 300.
  3. Proceed .7 miles to intersection of Route 300 and Route 17K (large intersection) STAY TO YOUR LEFT for turn onto 17K ; you will see a Nissan Dealer diagonally across from you.)
  4. Make a left onto 17K (17K narrows and becomes “Broadway”)
  5. Continue 2.2 miles to Route 32 South (on your right) – Route 32 aka Windsor Highway.
  6. Travel 3 miles on Route 32 South
  7. As you are approaching 3 miles, look to your right and you will see an Econo Lodge

FROM ROUTE 84 EASTBOUND

  1. Take Exit 7B (Route 300/Union Avenue)
  2. Take exit ramp to stop light and take right onto Route 300
  3. Follow directions from #3 (directly above)

FROM THE BEAR MOUNTAIN BRIDGE TRAFFIC CIRCLE

  1. From the Bear Mountain Circle, take Route 9W north for 11.4 miles (up and over Storm King Mountain)
  2. The road levels out.
  3. Go past Angola Road
  4. Go under the overpass and take the exit for the Storm King Art Center and Cornwall (you will also see an “H” sign for Cornwall Hospital)
  5. The exit ramp takes you to Quaker Avenue (there is no sign for Quaker Avenue)
  6. Go left at Quaker Ave. and travel .4 miles to stop light at intersection of Route 32 (stay to right).
  7. Make right turn onto Route 32 (North)
  8. Travel 1.6 miles to the 5 Corners Intersection in Vails Gate. Stay in right lane and continue on Route 32 (a “soft” right turn)
  9. Follow directions from 5 Corners Intersection (below)

FROM MONROE, CENTRAL VALLEY, and HARRIMAN, NY

Starting at “The Woodbury Commons Outlet” on Route 32, travel approximately 11-12 miles north on Route 32 to the 5 corners intersection at Vails Gate, NY. Then follow these directions: FROM THE 5 CORNERS INTERSECTION IN VAILS GATE, NY

FROM THE 5 CORNERS INTERSECTION IN VAILS GATE, NY

(Routes 300, 94, and 32 intersect)

  1. Take Route 32 north for only 3/4 miles (You will pass K-Mart and Shop Rite on your left)
  2. As you approach .75 miles, you will see a Kentucky Fried Chicken and an Popeye’s your left
  3. Make your next left into “Washington Green Condominiums” (if you pass the Econo Lodge, you’ve gone too far)
